We are so excited for the upcoming auditions for our Fall Play, a devised piece entitled “Cardboard Stories: Some Assembly Required” August 17th and 18th after school from 3:30-5:30! The constructs of the play are as follows: - The entire show will be non verbal (no speaking). - We will have a cast of 14 actors. - Music will be played live and recorded. - Technicians will include a Stage Manager, 2 Asst. Stage Managers, 2 Set and Props Coordinators, a lighting designer and a sound designer - The only set or prop pieces will be cardboard boxes or made of cardboard. Performance Dates: September 21st - 23rd KTA Regionals: October 28th @ Transy All students interested in auditioning and/or being a part of the tech crew must complete the form linked below. Please come dressed to move and willing to play and try new things! This is an ensemble based piece that will require collaboration, imagination, and innovation! This is a devised piece that was originally created by Lafayette students in 2020 based around the idea of “how many things can you create with a cardboard box?” this year we are thrilled to revisit the concept and create a new piece with current Lafayette Theatre artists! |
